DESCRIPTION:We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be holding another Shibari Initiation Workshop in the English version in Porto on 11 May from 9am to 1pm.\nKnots\, safety\, friction\, tension\, rope handling and various exercises will be covered.\nThe workshop is suitable for those who have or don’t have a partner\, or who want to start tying themselves. \nWe have tickets for the rope jam that follows in the afternoon and anyone who wants to come to both events can bring lunch and eat in our social area. \nThe space will be for the exclusive use of KNOTY participants\, in order to provide as much comfort and confidentiality as possible for everyone who joins us.\nPrior registration is required\, see details and tickets below.\nIf you wish to register via MBway\, you can do so at 939611076\, indicating your name/nickname and sending a message indicating your registration and email address\, so that we can contact you later. \nWORKSHOP\, from 9am to 1pm.\nLasting 4 hours\, it is divided into two parts\, the first theoretical and the second practical. DESCRIPTION:With great joy\, we announce that Kasumi Hourai is coming to Portugal\, a 2 day workshop on 24th and 25th of May 2025.\nThe model of this workshop will be Asami Hime\, from USA/Barcelona (Spain).\nThis is the first time Kasumi Hourai is in Portugal and is an amazing opportunity to learn with her japanese rope bondage. \nWe have a couple of spots for people that are unpaired and want to come to the workshops and take advantage to this opportunity\, listen and learn from Kasumi Hourai herself.\nLimited spots. \n  \n\n\nINTENSIVE WORKSHOP \nThe workshop will be held in English with translation from Japanese to English. Duration of 6h per day\, 2 full days.\nWorkshop starts at 10am until 6pm (Lisbon time)\, with 2h break for lunch (participants may use our social area to lunch and socialize).\nParticipants should arrive at 9am30 to prepare themselves. \nDay One “Torturing Safely”\nOn the first day Kasumi will take about safety and measures to reduce and prevent accidents and injuries.\nOn this day Kasumi will teach Kasumi TK Style\, followed by decoration ropes\, semi-suspension exercises\, foot binding and Ikebana. \nDay Two “Traditional Japanese Kinbaku\, Japanese Aesthetics in Every Detail”\nOn this day\, Kasumi will deepen her TK (Kasumi style TK)\, explore difference of concepts TK and modern bondage TK\, including concepts\, rope muscles\, and the advantages and disadvantages of each.\nDuring the workshop\, we will incorporate Japanese gestures into our movements.\nKasumi will teach different types of suspension lines\, followed by full body Hishibari – Suspension line.\nTie a Japanese kimono string\, Obiage\, in a vertical knot.\nThe day ends with “Moribana Kinbaku” which is one of styles of Ikebana\, where all the students are tied up at the same time.\nWe will take a picture of the finished product. I recommend students to come with their cameras. \nMinimum Requirements:\nFor Riggers: \n– Good understanding of fundamental technique of Shibari / Kinbaku.\n– Capable of tying a good TK of any style.\n– Good knowledge of suspension lines management.\n– Good understanding of security in Shibari. \nFor models: \n– Comfortable with TK or gote.\n– Experience in suspension.\n– Good understanding of safety in Shibari\, mainly understanding the differences between nerve compression and blood compression.\n– Available to express vulnerability.\n– Available to experiment and explore concepts of suffering and erotism.\n– Models should use long dress or long underwear\, as Kasumi style includes tying with rope. Sport wear will be ok for most of training exercises\, but nudity will not be permitted. \n\nWhat to bring: \n– Jute ropes (min 10 ropes). DESCRIPTION:Aquando a vinda de Kasumi Hourai a Portugal\, haverá uma performance de Kasumi Hourai com Asami Hime\, no dia 24 de maio às 21h.\nA entrada é gratuita para quem se inscreveu nos workshops (quer no workshop intensivo quer no mini workshop). \nApós a performance haverá uma mini rope jam para quem quiser atar\, até às 23h.\nOs lugares são limitados e a reserva antecipada é obrigatória. \n\nPerformance “Koinobori at the fair”\nOs koinobori (serpentinas de carpa) são um antigo costume japonês. Tem um significado muito auspicioso. Kasumi Hourai vestirá um quimono. Este espetáculo de Kinbaku de quimono será um espetáculo de estilo japonês muito tradicional (desde o manuseamento das cordas até aos movimentos). \n  \n\n  \nInformações gerais:\n– A performance terá lugar em The Knoty (W)Hole\, no Porto\, na hora designada\, as portas abrem às 21h e há uma tolerância de 15 min.
